Welcome Hello and thanks for dropping in.
Behind the gallery links you will find some photographs of my original oil paintings and behind the Townscape, Bridges, River Tweed and Coast links you will see a selection of digital images that I use as inspiration for my artwork.
I first studied art at school in the 1970's and for a period of nearly thirty years I lost touch with it completely, concentrating exclusively on my family and work.
Initially I found it difficult to stand in front of the easel again but in 2007 I was inspired to return to art by the spectacular colours and scenery that I have found here on my own doorstep in Berwick upon Tweed.
I am slowly building up a port folio of work and have now produced some larger A4 and A3 framed prints that are available from the Site Shop page. In my Contact page there are a few links to friends of the site and some useful local links too plus a few extra photos of wildlife and general interest shots.
I really hope that you enjoy your digital trip around my home town, along the river Tweed and the North Northumberland coast and hope to see you again soon.
